After having these for a month the wires started coming out where they connect to the battery. After returning them and getting a new pair, one of the speakers has just gone out. I have only had them for a total of three months including return time etc. I will be returning them and getting something different!
Easy to use

When I first got my headphones, I was really really eager to see what all the fuss was about. I put on my most bass filled song to get an idea of the headphones' quality. OMG... I was really disappointed... I seriously thought of returning them. BUT I don't know why, after 3, 4, 5, 6... songs The bass started pumping through the sub. When I first opened the package, The amp was at max and I was like, aww... But now I can barely put it a 1/4! Really the sound is great. I regret thinking that these actually sucked because they really do not. The cord lenght is perfect and you can easily fold em up and put it in the carrying bag provided. Only disadvantage I can see is that you can easily put the bass too high for your ears, but I'm sure you can be reasonable.
Good sound -- Lots of BASS!!!

My first thought when looking at these was wondering if they were Iphone G1 compatible but had to find out the hard way by purchasing these first. Turns out they aren't unless you buy an aftermarket adapter. These do sound good with my ipod though. Lots of bass, almost too much unless you turn down the bass or you are a bass junkie. Overall i would highly recommend these phones. They're great

I read all of the five star reviews of the Skullcrushers and had to see for myself what all the rave was about. I popped the AA battery in the slot and cranked em up. It was surprising how much they kicked on my ears.. like nothing else I'd heard. I hope they withstand the punishment I'll be putting them through :) Kinda funny that the bass control is actually labeled as 'vibration'. Be sure to pick up some rechargeable batteries to help save our big blue mother earth.

Loved them at first, after a months use, the subs blew out, tried to get them fixed but skullcandy wanted something like $50 and shipping, they were nice, until they died. im more upset about the warranty, and the lack of use i got out of them. ive had more success with cheap sony headphones.
the best period(.)

they are actually light for how big they are and are the best sounding headphones i have ever used, and i have used a lot. everything is so balanced and the sound is never to much but at the same time its loud and thrashing. the subs work amazing with certain songs. you will realize with fast lows turning the volume down a bit will give better sound but with long deep bass it will vibrate your hair! i love these for snowboarding and anything when all i want to hear is music. the pads are super comfy, but when you are riding the chair up lift em off ever once in a while cause the pressure diff when going up the mountain can hurt. amazing headphones.
WOOOOOO! AHHHHHHH! HAHAHA!

COOLEST THINGS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...as you can probably tell i love love love these headphones. sound is incredible, highs are nice and clear, and the the BASS! of course is huge huge, the thing is its not just sound...its actualy vibration!...the woofers rumble just like a cars, and its crazy when its goin right into your head, but the sound is balanced and not obnoxious at all, no overkill or headaches, and you can controll the level of bass, grandma. they are also very comfortable, and fit nice n snug so they done fall off when you look down (achem, lowriders)...plenty stable and solid for snowboarding, wont fall off when you fall. Folding design is nice for airports and school ect. and last awesome thing is that they work perfect with my wimpy ipod nano, since they are self powered, no weak sound!...and no batter drain either.
I CANT LISTEN TO OTHER HEADPHONES!

Holy Crap, these things shake your head and rattle yur brain!...ok not really but it feels like it, the bass is HUGE and you can feel the vibrations...it sounds like your head is INSIDE a 600 watt sub!!!!!...the folding design is nice and you can controll how much bass there is, just incase you get tired of having your brain getting knocked around your skull...the only bad thing is the obscure fit system, it doesnt wrap neatly aroud your head but hinges stick out a few centimeters and squish the pad against your head. besides that they are perfection.
Get em.

These are some pretty sick headphone. When they thump they thump and you can feel it. At first i didn't like them but i grew to love them. The folding on them are hella sick but have to get use to.

I got these because my ipod headphones lacked the badass bass I love, and I can't carry a sub with me, so I got these, and was surprised that on some songs I could feel the vibes all the way down to my shoulders. The only downsides are that they are big and bulky, do not offer much sound shielding without music, they chew through a single double A battery every two weeks unless you don't use the amp, and if you have the bass and volume maxed out for long periods of time (2 or more hours) you will begin to get a headache. Overall, very good product, but could be streamlined some and sound insulation could be added. If you are someone who likes the bass pumped up, these are for you, they literally shake your brain.
Great!!!!!

I tried on the skullcrushers for 2 seconds and bought them a second later. These headphones literally vibrate your head. Worth way more than those 300$ brands. These skullcrushers live past their name and are great for all genre's of music. Double bass of heavy metal feels like its double bass in your head. Goes great with pounding techno and rap beats as well. A must buy, with the worlds greatest warranty.
Awesome

These headphones are absolutely wonderful, the sound just vibrates your entire head. It puts out base to match my 600$ klipsch subwoofer and these go right on top of your head (significantly lighter than the klipsch). I do have a few minor complaints howerever. First, they don't fit in the iphone. I knew this when I bought them, however it still amazes me that people still make one that doesn't fit an iPhone. Secondly, I do get some minor static depending on the music I'm listening to. Of course, the biggest issue is that any other headphones will feel empty compared to these monsters.

When I'm shreddin' I pop the earpieces out and put them where the padding should go in my helmet and they stay in with the straps on my helmet. People on the chairlift with me complain that my helmet is too loud because of the bass.
They were good untill they just up and quit

From the second i plugged these in and turned up the bass i fell in love. You can adjust the amount of bass for when you don't feel like jammin out. The only complaint i have is they look like full on head gear when you got them on. It's all good though cause they cover your ears completely so these on with some goggles and i'm ready to hit up big bear for an all day session. Love skullcandy!!!
